Harold sat there, dumbfounded.

Surrounding him were his former classmates.

They all flattered him and treated him with respect. Among them were many beautiful women. The old Harold would've slept with any one of them easily.

But now, Harold found them dull.

At least, they couldn't compare with Rena

Harold sipped from his glass of wine from time to time, all the while staring at Rena.

Rena and Vera headed to the registration table and paid for the reunion fees.

Aline took the money without hesitation and said with a fake smile,

“I'm so sorry about this, Rena. I know your family's in a tight spot.

Hey, how about I sponsor your reunion fee?"

Her voice was so loud that everyone heard her. Obviously, she was deliberately trying to embarrass Rena.

Rena smiled elegantly.

"No, it's okay. I can afford it."

Aline counted the money Rena handed over and then looked at Rena in surprise.

"You paid for two people? Are you really going to take your sugar daddy to the school reunion?"

Before Rena could say anything, she covered her mouth and smiled, “It seems that he is quite... possessive!"

The hall fell silent after that.

The others all turned to glance at Rena meaningfully.

Rena used to be the campus belle at their music school, and she had come from a rich family. They never would've thought that she'd end up relying on a sugar daddy to support her. They didn't believe it when they saw the posts on their school forum before, but now that Aline said it so boldly, they thought that it had to be true.

Some of them sympathized with Rena, others laughed at her, but most of them just kept a distance from her. The people who were supposed to share a table with Rena suddenly had their seats changed.

Even the professors sighed when they saw how their old student fared after graduation.

Seeing everyone look at Rena with disgust, Aline smiled with satisfaction.
