Once outside, Cecilia whispered, "I'll handle Elaine."

Peter responded, "Mr. Evans is aware of your intentions. He insists on keeping you away from any unsavory dealings."

Pausing, he added, "Let Mr. Evans manage it."

Acknowledging him, Cecilia nodded.
