He had overhead the situation from the yard and knew that Zoey was pissed off.

He walked over and said with a smile, "Don't be so angry, Mom. It's not good for your health."

Zoey sneered.

"Don't try to fool me. Mark, I may be old, but I'm not yet senile. If Tracey did something wrong, then you can deal with her however you like. But you shouldn't be hiding it from me!"
