Upon hearing the door close, Alexis looked up and smiled. "Childish," she uttered.

This word seemed to have closed the distance between them.

Leonel walked towards the door and locked it. Then, he slowly approached her desk and leaned against it, his tall frame blocking her view.

Alexis had no choice but to crane her neck to meet his gaze.

Leonel slightly leaned over and said in a hoarse voice, “Alexis, why do I get the feeling that you're seducing me? What? Is Calvin not good in bed? Is he failing to satisfy you?"

Leonel remained the focus of Alexis' gaze.
