At three in the afternoon, the villa was tranquil. Kiana dashed to find Minnie as soon as she stepped out of the car.
Poor Minnie was fast asleep, snuggled tightly by her little owner.

He craved a cigarette. "You handle her nap. I'll grab a cig and head to the office."
Melissa gave his chin a gentle kiss. “Come back early when you're done."
With nobody around, Marcus' voice turned husky. “Wasn't I good enough last night?"
He leaned in closer, whispering something suggestive in her ear.
“I'll make it up to you tonight then!"
Melissa didn't flinch.
