Chapter: 3894
Then he entered the car.
At this point, Axell wanted to say something, but the driver beat him to it. "Miss Green, where are you going?" he asked, addressing Jessie. “We can give you a lift, you know."
When Axell heard this, he immediately felt that the driver had crossed a line.
How could a driver make such a decision without even consulting Albert? Clearly, the driver thought too highly of himself and Axell was sure that he would be fired later.
But he couldn't care less about the driver. All he wanted to do was give Albert a good impression of himself, so he said with a smile, “We're fine. We don't want to put you out. After all, we came in our cars."
Then he bent down to say goodbye to Albert and his daughter.
Jeslyn didn't respond to him. Instead, she turned her head away arrogantly.
It was clear that she didn't like Axell at all.
"She's just a spoiled girl," Albert apologized to Axell. “And it's all my fault. I spoiled her. And I apologize for her rude behavior.
Come on, Jeslyn, say goodbye to them!"
But Jeslyn didn't listen to her father.
Albert sighed. He had no choice but to order the driver, “Just take us back to the company.”
It turned out that he had suspended so much of his work just to buy an ice cream for his daughter. Now, he was going back to his work.
After the black car had zoomed off, Axell said thoughtfully, "I wonder when we'll be able to afford such a nice car."
Then he turned to Jessie and said with a smile, "I just hope we can achieve this dream together."
But each of them had their own different thoughts and the date ended before long.
After finishing her work at the studio, Jessie packed up and went home. When she got home, she found that dinner was ready.
While they were eating, Lettie asked in concern, "So, what do you think of Axell? I saw photos of him. He looks handsome and he has a promising job. I also heard that he's had only two exes. At least, he's not a playboy."
"Well, he's not bad," Jessie said with a shrug. "But I still need to know more about him."
Lettie was happy to hear this.
