Lettie called after them, “You've been out since early morning; you must be exhausted. lunch won't be ready for another two hours, so take some rest. And don't forget to dry Jeslyn's feet to prevent her from catching a cold."

Jeslyn piped up, “I will go change my shoes and we can make snowmen together!"

Despite her usual reluctance for outdoor activities, Lettie found it hard to deny the little girl's request.

Albert brought Jeslyn upstairs and used a heater to warm her tiny feet. Jeslyn, full of energy, exclaimed, "I want to make snowmen with Grandma!"

Albert knelt down, carefully helping Jeslyn into her socks and shoes, and gently asked, "Don't you want to play with Jessie, sweetheart?"
