Leonel cut her off as he rolled into the room.

With a blank expression, he stated flatly, "Back then, I simply couldn't let go of the past, so I had someone take these pictures. But don't worry, they mean nothing now!" He paused for a few seconds, and then continued, "I'm with someone else now, Alexis."

Alexis was stunned by his words.

Before she could respond, Leonel maneuvered his wheelchair closer, bent down to gather the remaining photos, and handed them to her.

"I've just been too busy to throw these away."
