Chapter: 4472
Yet Laura was by his side, his body felt content. Even while engaged in such handicrafts, he felt a sense of ease and satisfaction.
He didn't finish until four o'clock in the morning.
Unexpectedly, he did it flawlessly.
When they left the studio, Laura could barely keep her eyes open, and Edwin carried her downstairs on his back. She leaned on him and whispered, “If your company goes under in the future, you can come to my studio. I will compensate you well for your skills."
Hearing this, Edwin was both amused and annoyed. He gently patted her butt.
"If it really goes bankrupt, I'll focus on providing you with special service in bed, which is way better than doing this."
Laura punched him.
Edwin turned to her and asked, "Weren't you comfortable just now? Your moans and screams were just so cute.”
Laura seethed with anger, ignoring him as she lay on his back, sulking.
When they reached the first floor in the elevator, Edwin carried her to the parking lot. Snowflakes drifted down from the night sky, but his heart felt softer than the falling snow.
After ten years, Laura still retained the innocence of her youth.
By the time they returned to the villa, dawn was breaking. Edwin, cautious not to wake anyone, quietly carried Laura upstairs. She fell asleep the moment her head touched the pillow, her eyes closing immediately.
Edwin gazed at her with a gentle smile.
At eight o'clock in the morning, he rose as usual, washed up, and went down the stairs dressed in a wool suit.
In the dining room, Cecilia and Olivia were seated together.
Cecilia watched her son descend the stairs, and then glanced upstairs and sighed softly. “Edwin, you should exercise more restraint. Laura has always been delicate. How could you be so reckless?"
Edwin calmly pulled out a chair and sat down. "I stayed up late Last night sewing the wedding dress with her."
Cecilia cast a glance at him.
She couldn't help but know what had transpired last night when she woke up and saw Edwin carrying Laura back, his coat wrapped around her. She knew the situation but refrained from speaking too much about it, understanding it was a matter between the young couple.
ALL she could do was instruct the cook to prepare some nutritious food for Laura.
