But Olivia went on with a faint smile, "I was already with Dylan when I found out that I was pregnant, and back then, those rumors about you and Sharon were rife. How would you have responded to me if I just came to tell you that I was pregnant with your child?"

She paused for a moment before continuing. “Certainly you would ask whether this baby was really yours. You might even think that I was only using you as a Plan B because Dylan had rejected the pregnancy."

Raphael wanted to refute this suppositions of hers, but he couldn't open his mouth to speak. He was at a loss what to say, because what Olivia had said might easily have happened.

If she really had told him she was pregnant with his child, he would have certainly denied and even mocked her. Knowing that she was with Dylan not so long ago, he wouldn't even think twice about rejecting any such pregnancy claim from her. He would never have taken her seriously at all.

Seeing the stiff expression on his face, Olivia said with a faint smile, "Can you see how ridiculous it is? We've just been taking turns to hurt each other.
