Chapter: 4592
"No," Olivia replied. "I want to live alone. I have a small, quiet villa. That's where I'd like to go with Leyla."
Edwin ran his hands absently over the steering wheel for a moment.
Then he asked her, “How about Raphael? Are you sure you don't want to get back with him?"
Olivia shook her head in the negative.
"Love is not like a game," she said in a low voice. "Back then, when I decided to settle down with Dylan, I made up my mind that I would spend the rest of my life with him."
Olivia had thought Dylan would feel the same way. That was why she chose to marry him even after finding out that she was pregnant with Raphael's child.
If she was asked whether she regretted what she did, she would still say no. Despite everything, she had a lot of good memories with Dylan.
After thinking for a while, she added, "Apart from moving out of his apartment and handing the company back to him, I want to also change Leyla's surname and mine back to Evans."
As she spoke, her eyes were staring outside the window thoughtfully.
She felt that once Leyla's surname was changed, she would no Longer have anything to do with Dylan.
When she was still together with Dylan, all of these things she was now planning to do were things she never thought would happen. But alas, times had changed and she had to change with it.
She could still vividly remember the day Dylan walked down the aisle with her. She was wearing a white dress and a white veil. Both of them looked at each other, their eyes filled with trust and affection.
She believed that they would be together for the rest of their Lives, until death did them part.
But still, Edwin was quite worried that Olivia might get too emotional, so he told her that she should probably go back with him to get some rest and that he would arrange everything for her.
But Olivia refused. "I'm fine, Edwin," she told him in a sharp tone.
"It's not good for you to keep worrying about me all the time. By the way, don't tell dad and mom what happened. Just let them know that Dylan came back in one piece."
When Edwin heard this, he sighed and started the car.
When they finally arrived at the apartment that belonged to Dylan, he asked her in concern, “Are you sure you can handle it by yourself?"
“Come on, stop worrying about me," Olivia scolded him playfully.
“I'll go home as soon as I've finished arranging everything."
Actually, Olivia had become more independent over the past two years, so Edwin didn't have to worry too much about her welfare.
As her brother, he could understand why she had made such a big decision.
It was because Dylan had not given her any other option.
However, he couldn't blame Dylan, just like Olivia couldn't either.
