Chapter: 4616
Turning away, Edwin adjusted his tie and casually inquired, “Are you truly unwilling to forgive Dylan? It seems there's more to your relationship than meets the eye. It's understandable why he may have wanted to part ways, considering his desire for Leyla to be with her biological father. But I suspect the crux lies in his connection with Gina. From what I've gathered, her father was the one who rescued Dylan when he leapt from the chopper.”

Before Olivia could interject, Edwin offered his advice.

"Regarding this matter, you can approach Dylan directly. Whether he harbors feelings for Gina or not, it's rather straightforward to discern. You can also ask about the nature of their relationship and whether they have been intimate in any way. Ultimately, the decision rests with you."

With that, Edwin placed a reassuring hand on Olivia's shoulder, continuing, "If his response is negative, perhaps reconsideration is warranted. However, if it's the opposite, then he's not worth your concern. It may be time to move on and find someone else."

“Edwin!" Olivia protested, her tone edged with frustration.

Edwin shook his head in exasperation and muttered quietly, “All I'm saying is that at his age, Dylan should know better when it comes to handling relationships."

With other matters pressing at the company, Edwin hurried off after expressing his thoughts.

After he left, Olivia stood there for a long time.

Raphael extended invitations to numerous friends and even old schoolmates for his big day.

Of course, Olivia abstained from attending his engagement party.

However, Sharon seemed reluctant to relent, making a special visit to see Olivia.

They met at a coffee shop.

Sharon looked noticeably thinner than before, and her makeup style seemed different too. Rumor had it that she had been involved with a wealthy man lately, and her latest companion seemed quite taken with her.

Sharon excitedly discussed her fiance.

Eventually, Olivia offered a faint smile and uttered, "Well, congratulations."

Upon hearing this, Sharon couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. She scrutinized Olivia from head to toe. While it was true that Olivia was currently a single mother, she appeared vibrant and full of energy. Despite any weight loss, Olivia's demeanor remained unchanged. Perhaps it was the support from the Evans family that provided Olivia with the confidence to move forward in her life.

Sporting a strained smile, Sharon busied herself with stirring her coffee, falling silent for a moment before finally broaching the topic in a subdued tone.

“Raphael's fiancee may come from a respectable family, but she doesn't compare to you. I genuinely don't comprehend why Raphael and you cannot be together. If you were the one marrying him, I wouldn't feel this way, you know."

How absurd!

With a faint smile, Olivia calmly replied, "Is that so? If he were to choose me in the end, I doubt you'd be saying the same. You'd likely be furious, claiming I'm not worthy of him."

Sharon was taken aback by Olivia's response, knowing the truth in it.

Olivia gazed out through the window, and then smiled gently. “It's time to move on! You're about to marry. Why not let go of Raphael altogether?"

After a prolonged gaze at Olivia, Sharon silently grabbed her handbag and left, her spirits clearly deflated.

Meanwhile, Olivia enjoyed the remainder of her coffee in silence.
