Chapter: 4647
He let out a groan of pain.
Dylan's gaze dropped to meet hers, an indescribable intensity flickering in his eyes. Slowly, he reached out and traced his hand up her leg, his movements deliberate and gentle, yet tinged with a hint of something provocative.
Olivia glared at him, her lips quivering with anger.
Had this been in the past, Dylan would never have treated her this way, especially not in public.
The elevator kept going up.
Dylan lowered his head, his nose brushing against hers as he whispered hoarsely, "Do you enjoy this?"
Feeling embarrassed, Olivia tried to kick him once again.
Dylan tightened his hold the moment she shifted... Leaning against his shoulder, Olivia bit him in frustration, struggling to contain herself.
Dylan's eyes grew dark.
He murmured in her ear, “Just admit it, if you enjoy it!"
Amidst her gasps, Olivia cursed, “You jerk!"
Dylan, hearing her curse, pressed her into the corner of the elevator, mindful of the surveillance camera, and lightly traced her lips with his slender finger...
Olivia couldn't shake him off. Her eyes burning with rage, she cursed once more, "Damn you, Dylan!"
But Dylan remained silent.
As the elevator reached the top floor, Dylan held Olivia's gaze for a moment before leading her out into the apartment.
The place had been renovated.
At Dylan's request, the designer adorned the place with feminine touches, including a children's room designed for Leyla.
"What do you think?"
In the well-lit bedroom, Dylan enveloped Olivia from behind, his chin resting on her shoulder. He murmured assurances of his presence, promising to stay by her side. He added that he would never see Gina again if Olivia wished.
But Olivia understood that if Gina were in dire straits, Dylan would unquestionably rush to her side.
Suddenly, an overwhelming sadness engulfed her. Competing with a dying woman for Dylan's affection was not what she desired; she found the situation utterly absurd.
Turning to face him, Olivia spoke calmly. “I won't be moving in here, neither will Leyla."
Her gaze lowered, she added, “Do you remember that, Dylan? You promised you'd come to me whenever I missed you, no matter where you were. Something's different now."
Remembering the past, Olivia couldn't shake off a sense of sadness.
