Chapter: 4654
Considering Leyla was with Edwin, he thought she'd stay.
As Olivia opened her eyes, she encountered Dylan's handsome visage.
She delicately traced his prominent nose with her hand and replied, “Our relationship doesn't require such attachment. I'll call the driver to pick me up then."
With that, she sat up, intending to change her clothes and leave.
But Dylan gently pressed her back down.
Her complexion appeared brighter than usual.
There was a feminine allure in her eyes and brows.
Upon recalling their recent intimacy, Dylan's expression softened. He gently pulled her back, planting a tender kiss on her nose, and murmured softly, “Let me rest for a while, and then I'll take you home."
Although Olivia considered suggesting calling the driver, Dylan seemed to anticipate her thoughts. He reached out and held her tightly in his arms. Their faces pressed together, their warmth intermingling from their shared intimacy.
Resting her head on his chest, Olivia listened to his heartbeat in silence.
Women were often softhearted. Despite enduring hardships, Olivia's heart remained soft at this moment, though she chose not to divulge her innermost feelings... her unspoken bitterness.
Dylan ended up driving Olivia back.
The air between them in the car was charged, a subtlety that only they could truly understand.
They pulled up outside Olivia's villa and as she reached for the door, she realized it was locked from inside. Turning, she found Dylan watching her.
"It's cold outside. I'll just pull the car in- Leyla isn't around, is she? That way, you won't have to worry about my presence affecting her," Dylan suggested, his words tinged with underlying meanings.
"You don't need to hint so subtly," Olivia responded, looking away.
Dylan's response was a soft smile, a rare moment of genuine happiness.
Olivia, recalling how often Dylan used to smile, found herself gazing at him.
Suddenly, he reached out, taking her hand and gently pressing it against his cheek.
The AC was on and inside the car was warm, intensifying the scent of his cologne and the masculine aura he exuded. As Olivia tried to pull back, Dylan caught her hand, drawing her into his embrace.
His voice, rough and deep, broke the silence.
"If I spoke plainly, you'd never confess your feelings for me-Admitting you like me has become too difficult, hasn't it?"
His insight unnerved her, revealing a connection too deep to ignore.
Tears welled up in Olivia's eyes as she fought the urge to look away, murmuring, “I don't know what you're talking about!"
