Chapter: 4669
After setting the table, he approached her, gently wrapping his arms around her waist. "What are you looking at?"
Olivia remained still.
In a husky voice, she remarked, “It's snowing, but it was sunny just a moment ago."
Dylan studied her face intently.
She turned to face him, locking eyes... After a prolonged moment, he leaned in and kissed her tenderly. Pulling back, he spoke up in a husky voice. "Let's eat dinner first. We can watch the snow together later. It doesn't seem like it's going to stop anytime soon."
Following dinner, he washed the dishes.
However, they weren't inclined to watch the snow at that moment.
Seated on the sofa, Dylan's hand rested on the armrest while the other encircled Olivia's slender waist, veins protruding on the back of his hand.
Dylan was completely lost in the moment, his mind unable to focus on anything else.
He looked at the woman in his arms, about to engage in the most intimate moment, when she suddenly whispered, "The condom!"
Dylan was stunned.
Sitting up slightly, he kissed her, his voice muffled. “You won't get pregnant."
He was practically sterile.
So they didn't need to use any form of contraception.
The thought weighed heavily on Dylan, filling him with sadness.
Turning over, he pressed her under him, consumed by his emotions. His intensity caused her to cry out and scream involuntarily.
After a few hours, they were drenched in sweat.
She ached all over.
He wore an apologetic expression, kissing away the tears at the corners of her eyes as he whispered an apology.
Olivia remained silent.
She simply hugged him tightly.
She later stepped into the shower alone, feeling the water cascade down her neck, chest, and abdomen. Olivia gently touched her abdomen, and suddenly, Dylan's words from earlier flashed through her mind.
He had mentioned being sterile.
While a baby wasn't their entire world, she still wanted to have a child with him. Why was he so certain of his sterility? What if the doctor had made an error? Or perhaps it could be treated?
