He shouldn't disrupt her life again.
He nodded, a faint smile on his Lips.
Then, after a moment, Olivia added, “Raphael, it's time for us to move forward. I'll take care of Leyla."
Raphael understood her message perfectly.
He swung open the driver's door, while Olivia just stood watching silently. Finally, Raphael couldn't resist hugging her, whispering, "If you ever need help, don't hesitate to reach out."
With that, he Let go, hopping into the car and speeding off.
All good things must end someday, despite the mix of joy and sorrow they shared.
Olivia drifted in thought for a moment.
Then, a relieved smile spread across her face.
She believed Raphael and Elissa would find happiness together.
As she headed into the apartment building, she noticed Dylan standing nearby.
Dolly, their dog, was beside him, ready for a walk.
It was hard to read Dylan's expression since he was standing in the shadow. Olivia guessed he'd seen Raphael but she wasn't sure for how long.
Approaching, she took the leash from Dylan and gave Dolly a gentle pat.
Dolly wagged her tail happily.
“Our car broke down and I bumped into Raphael and Elissa. They gave me a lift. I left something in his car, and he just dropped by to return it," Olivia explained earnestly.
Dylan studied her quietly, not saying a word.
Olivia wasn't sure if he believed her. Before she could elaborate, the nanny appeared with Leyla, who ran to Dylan, asking to be picked up.
For some reason, Olivia felt a pang of unease.
"Alright, let's head back and cook up something yummy for you, sweetheart," Dylan said softly, lifting Leyla.
With that, he headed for the elevator with Leyla in his arms.
Olivia sensed Dylan's irritation.
He must have spotted Raphael hugging her but she felt caught off guard by that sudden hug as well.
Quietly, she took the dog and trailed after him.
