Chapter: 4807
Desperate for cash, she had turned to them, thinking Elissa would cave.

But she hadn't expected this humiliation.

Bristling with indignation, she almost spoke up, but held her tongue.

Seeing their packed bags, she exclaimed, “Mrs. Jones, are you moving out? You don't live here anymore?"

Elissa paused before responding, "Yes. We're moving out tomorrow!"

"You've terminated the lease?"

"Yes, we have."

Embarrassed, the maid made her exit, casting a pensive glance back at them.

Once she was gone, Raphael instructed Brantley, "Grab that pillow of yours. We're leaving tonight and we're not coming back."

Brantley was puzzled.

Elissa patted his head, explaining, "We're not safe with that woman around. She poses a threat."

Though not fully grasping the danger, Brantley obeyed, gathering his things.

Raphael swiftly packed Elissa's essentials, and they departed that very night.

Before leaving, they alerted the landlord and property management about the maid.

After the call, Raphael turned to Elissa, murmuring, "I'm sorry you had to deal with that."

She shrugged it off.

"We were bound to leave sooner or later. We can't stick around and let her intimidate us. She might try something tonight and try to force us to cough up the cash. Such ignorance is infuriating."

Raphael felt conflicted.

After a pause, he remarked, “When we return from Czanch, I'll buy us a house with a garden like you wished."

Worried Brantley might be upset, Raphael watched as the boy nestled against Elissa. Actually, as long as he was with them, he'd be content, even if life wasn't Lavish.

But Raphael wouldn't let them struggle.

He drove through the night to Czanch. At dawn, they pulled up in front of a cozy villa.

He'd arranged for his friend to secure it right before they set off.

The six-month rent cost a hefty one hundred and fifty grand but Raphael prioritized their safety over expenses. With him and his assistant there, they didn't need a maid for now. Elissa could move to a care center after the baby's birth.
