Chapter: 4834
Olivia couldn't take it.
She was convinced Leyla had definitely picked up those words from him.
She just turned away, choosing to ignore them.
"Your mom is upset!" Dylan told Leyla.
Leyla stared at her mom for a while and then whispered, "You're right. Mom's face is really red."
Olivia felt even more embarrassed and upset.
About thirty minutes later, the car pulled up to a small villa.
A friendly woman opened the car door, warmly greeted them, and took Leyla into her arms.
Olivia and Dylan stepped out of the car together and stood beside each other.
The woman greeted them as well.
She was quite chatty. "Mrs. Jones just had a baby boy and is still recovering, so she couldn't come out to welcome you in person. Please bear with us."
Olivia smiled and nodded. "Don't worry. I understand."
Just then, Raphael stepped out of the villa. Seeing Olivia and Dylan standing together, he looked a bit surprised but then smiled and said, "Welcome!"
Leyla ran over to him, hugged his leg, and affectionately called him Dad.
Raphael bent down and gently placed his hand on Leyla's head to comfort her. Then he looked up at Olivia and Dylan. "Come inside and have some tea."
The driver began unloading numerous gifts from the trunk and announced, "These are from Mrs. Evans. These tonics will help your wife recover, Mr. Jones!"
The tonics were clearly valuable, rare, and hard to find.
With a meaningful gaze, Raphael turned to Olivia and said, "Please thank your mother for me."
She smiled and asked, "Where's Elissa? How is the baby doing? I still owe him a gift."
Dylan had already taken care of that.
Inside the villa was perfectly warm. The nanny brought over Jarvis, explained that Elissa was still weak and resting, and apologized on her behalf. Olivia smiled, understanding completely. She held the baby boy, looked at him closely, and then remarked to Dylan, “He looks more like Elissa."
“Yes, indeed," Dylan agreed.
She returned the baby to the nanny.
She then shared with Raphael all the details about Leyla's daily routines. She mentioned that Leyla could sleep by herself, but he should check on her at night to make sure she didn't kick off the covers while sleeping.
