Chapter: 4875
Instead, he gently touched his reddened cheek and asked casually, “Are you calmer now?"

Elva tilted her head coolly and said, "Open the door. I want to leave."

He looked at her for a long moment before finally unlocking the door and opening it for her. As soon as the door was opened, she exited from the other side but didn't return to the mall. Instead, she climbed into another luxury car.

Leonel was sitting in the back seat.

He hadn't left yet.

Resting his arm against the car window, he called out, “Hey, Luis! Are you seeing your new girlfriend tonight? If so, you might want to put some ointment on that face."

Luis' expression soured.

Luis felt uncomfortable hearing the Fowlers speak so dismissively about Holley. To him, it appeared as though they completely disregarded Holley's presence and were indifferent to his recent split with Elva.

Leonel, probably sensing Luis' annoyance, scoffed. “The women in our family are completely self-sufficient. Even if Elva chooses not to marry, her sister and I can support her for the rest of her life. Oh and in case you forget, she has a very accomplished brother as well. Luis, you've moved on from her, so focus on your new relationship. Do not bother Elva again. We also reject any parting gifts from you. Your own affairs are hardly in order, and being unfaithful isn't helping your case."

With that, Leonel instructed the driver to leave.

Luis looked at Elva; she averted her gaze, tears visible in her eyes.

He realized he had caused her significant pain.

Perhaps guilt over his treatment of Elva was dampening his spirits in his new relationship. His recent date with Holley was quite dull.

He wondered if his dwindling passion was because he'd known her too long? Should he push their relationship further?

In the middle of February, he invited Holley to spend the weekend at his apartment.

Luis owned several properties, including a luxurious villa where he usually resided. However, since his relationship with Holley was still in its early stages, he didn't bring her to his own personal space but instead to the apartment he once shared with Elva. He had removed most traces of Elva's presence from the place.

The apartment, spanning 120 square meters, was opulently decorated.

They had spent around five million dollars on its interior design, with Elva taking charge of choosing the decor and accessories herself.

Holley was stunned as soon as she entered.

She had never been in such an exquisitely decorated space. She wandered around, overwhelmed, and couldn't resist saying, "Luis, you have excellent taste."
