“Heater switch?" Luis asked with a smile as he leaned against the bathroom door on the other side. "There's nothing like that in the bathroom. Just make do with cold water."

Elva frowned in displeasure when she heard this.

She was currently on her period. No matter how strong she was, she just couldn't take a cold shower at this time. But then, she would feel highly uncomfortable if she didn't wash herself clean.

At the end, she had no choice but to put on her clothes again.

Perhaps as a result of her period and all the chores she had done today, her face was a little pale.

When she came out of the bathroom, Luis straightened up and became serious immediately. "What's wrong?" he asked in a low voice. “Are you angry? I know you used to have a good temper."

But Elva had a cramp in her belly, so she was in no mood to talk to him.

Instead, she walked past him and went outside, taking a blanket with her to her room. Then she got into bed, tucked herself in and began to sulk.

Luis Lay down next to her and said in a gentle tone, "You look cute when you're angry. Unlike in the past..."

“Luis, stop mentioning the past every time!" Elva snapped at him.

“Just forget about it, will you? Let the past stay in the past. I don't want to hear you telling me that you still love me and that you miss our happy moments."

She was right, but he just could not admit it.

Instead, he smiled and said, "I just wanted to have a chat with you. Are you really sure you don't want to take a shower?"

"There's no hot water," Elva shrugged.

"Will you be able to endure it if you're not able to shower for half a month?" Luis asked in a bid to scare her.

But Elva simply ignored him.

She didn't want to give in and beg him for help. In her heart, she despised him. It was fortunate that they had already broken up. As far as she was concerned, he was a rude, inconsiderate bastard! She was well aware of the fact that he was trying to push her into making a fool of herself.

Elva was a sucker for neatness. Hence, she couldn't stand to stay dirty.

By evening, she had no choice but to take a shower with cold water.

Afterwards, she began to have menstrual cramps, and her flow increased dramatically.
