Elva, more open-minded as she was than other girls, still felt a typical bashfulness.

Elva's cheeks flushed, and after a pause, she climbed into the driver's seat and asked, “Are you coming or not? If not, I'm driving off!"

Luis quickly got in and buckled up. "It's not often you offer me a ride. How could I refuse?"

He murmured, “You know what? It's actually not the car that I wanna ride right now."

Elva muttered a soft curse under her breath upon hearing him.

Her cheeks still rosy, she drove off, her charm heightened by the blush.

Luis, feeling quite secure, reclined in his seat and fell asleep...

When he woke up, they were parked in front of his villa.

“Are we here?" His voice was sleepy.

Elva nodded. She unbuckled her seatbelt and said, "Let's have the help cook tonight. You seem really tired, don't you?"

Hearing this, Luis grasped her hand and exclaimed, "Yes! I've been working overtime for several days. I'm really tired Elva remained silent."

She told herself she didn't feel sympathy for him as much as she was moved by his willingness to cook for her despite his fatigue. His cooking skills were modest to begin with, and it wasn't about the food's taste. It was the gesture that he was willing to do things for her.

The servant might actually cook better food!

Elva opened the car door and said, "You should go and rest for a bit. I'll explore this place a Little and call you when dinner is ready."

She didn't bring up Cassidy and Kyler again. Luis didn't mention them either.

He gave her a gentle peck and let her enjoy her time alone. Then, he went to catch up on some sleep.

Elva watched him go.

Luis stopped by the kitchen before heading upstairs. He asked the help to prepare a nice dinner since his girlfriend was visiting. The help, sent by his mother to look after him, was overjoyed. "Is it Miss Fowler?"

Luis smiled and said, "It is Elva!" He also reminded her not to make the food too spicy because Elva's skin was sensitive.

The help chuckled and replied, “Okay! I'll go pick up some fresh ingredients now. It's the first time you've brought a girlfriend home, and I'll ensure it's a special meal."
