Chapter: 1010
Barlow remained undeterred.

"You do realize the bed is spacious enough for two, don't you?"

Taken aback by his audaciousness, Rosalynn retorted, “Oh, really? You'd dare to share the bed?"

His smirk was all too telling.

"What if I do?"

“Then be prepared to live as a eunuch for the rest of your life,”

Rosalynn shot back, mirroring his smirk.

Another round of Barlow's laughter echoed through the room.

"Fair enough."

As Rosalynn was about to leave, Barlow extended a glass of wine her way.

“Don't sleep yet. The night can get quite dull. Let's have a drink."

Knowing Barlow's true identity, her earlier concerns about the wine being spiked had dissipated.

Recalling the lonely figure she had witnessed earlier, she accepted the offer and took the glass from him.

They clinked their glasses, and amidst the comfortable silence, Barlow posed a question lingering in his mind.

“I heard the news about Eleanor's baby. Are you still planning to divorce my brother?"

Rosalynn took a sip of wine at Barlow's question.

"Eleanor's child might not be Brian's. He might not even have slept with her ever."

Barlow's hand stopped midway to his mouth, his glass suspended in the air before it could reach his lips.

“How did you know?" he asked in surprise.

"Because..." Rosalynn paused, then Looked into Barlow's eyes in an unreadable gaze.

“You want to know? Then tell first who wants to replace Brian."

Barlow was struck speechless.
