Chapter: 106
Brian quickly caught the pillow. Observing her rise to leave, he reached out, grasped her slender waist, and pulled her onto his lap.
She could feel his warmth.
As she sensed the powerful muscles in his thighs, Rosalynn’s cheeks flushed.
“Brian Hughes, let go of me! If you don't let go, I'll beat you up!"
Brian laughed, captured her, and whispered into her ear, "Are you genuinely angry? | mentioned your impure thoughts, but you wouldn't own up to them. | just wanted to apply the ointment for you! What were you thinking?"
Rosalynn couldn't believe her ears.
He could have simply stated his intentions earlier!
Why did he have to flirt with her?
"Lcan do it myself!"
Rosalynn struggled to her feet.
Brian insistently guided her back to the sofa.
"Rosalynn, I'm a gentleman. | can't ignore an injured employee," Brian said in a matter-of-fact way.
Rosalynn couldn't help but think Brian was incredibly immature.
With a flushed face, Rosalynn could only watch as Brian lifted her leg and put it on his thigh.
Her heart was beating so fast, and it was as if she couldn't breathe properly.
She didn't know whether it was because of excitement or embarrassment. Maybe both.
Very carefully, Brian applied the medicine for her, rubbing her ankle gently.
Rosalynn felt a little pain at first, but it quickly subsided as well.
Eventually, she became very conscious about the coolness of the medicine and the warmth of Brian's hand.
Feeling a tingling sensation, Rosalynn coughed unnaturally.
With a grin, Brian stopped and looked up at her.
"Your foot is that sensitive, huh? Maybe it's because your boyfriend doesn't touch you that often."
Rosalynn’s face instantly turned red.
Why did Brian have to always be like this? He would deliberately make the situation much more awkward by teasing her. Why did he have to ask such an embarrassing question?
Rosalynn snapped, "When did | say that | have a boyfriend?"
