Chapter: 109
It seemed as though she wanted to distance herself from him.

Frowning, Brian pulled her back.

He was in a bad mood.

Rosalynn looked at him and asked, "Is there anything else?"

Brian opened his mouth but struggled to find words.

Rosalynn suddenly remembered something and said, “Oh, you wanted to remind me not to forget the items | just purchased, right? Thank you for the reminder.”

After that, she freed her hand from his grip, turned around, picked up her belongings from the floor, offered a smile to both of them and exited the room.

She behaved as if she wasn't the one who had almost had sex with him moments ago.

Maintaining a stoic expression, Brian went into the room and poured himself a glass of water.

Eleanor coldly watched Rosalynn’s retreating figure.

She thought Rosalynn was clever enough to leave immediately upon her arrival.

Did Rosalynn genuinely disdain the idea of riding on Brian's coattails? Eleanor didn't think so. Rosalynn must be playing hard to get.

Men often yearned for women they couldn't have.

In Eleanor's eyes, Rosalyn must be pretending not to care about Brian, so that he would have a deep impression on her.

Eleanor believed Rosalynn must be striving to become Brian's wife, just like her.

"What a scheming bitch!" she cursed silently.

Eleanor contemplated for a moment, brushed her hair back, closed the door, and elegantly approached Brian.

He was drinking water, and his Adam's apple was so sexy and seductive.

Ahint of desire flashed through Eleanor's eyes. She walked up to him and pretended to be cautious.

“Did | arrive at the wrong time and interrupt you and Rosalynn?"

Brian snapped, "Eleanor, haven't | told you to focus on your own tasks?"

Why was she interfering in his affairs?
