Chapter: 120
Since Baxter couldn't invite Leandro himself, he invited Leandro’s student instead.
Brian wondered if Rosalynn could outdo Leandro's student in the kitchen.
"Thank you, but my wife and | have turned veggie,” Chaz explained with a smile.
Baxter gestured to a man in his thirties to come forward.
"Kabir, did you hear that? It's your chance to showcase your skills."
The man, who had a round face and big ears, nodded enthusiastically.
"Of course.”
Baxter cast a smug glance at Brian.
"What a coincidence! My translator is a food lover as well. Chaz, why don't you let her demonstrate her skills too?" Brian offered.
After receiving Brian's order, Rosalynn went to the kitchen together with Kabir.
Knowing that Chaz and Dayana turned veggie, she thought for a moment about what she was going to prepare. Then, she went to the kitchen to get some carrots and other vegetables.
Kabir scoffed.
"| am Leandro's student. So | advise you to find an excuse to leave. Otherwise, you will just make a fool of yourself later and embarrass your boss.”
Hearing this, Rosalynn just glanced at him and asked, "Oh, you are Leandro's student?”
Kabir's eyes flashed with complacency and he answered haughtily, "Of course. If you haven't even heard of me, then you must be a bumpkin."
However, Rosalyn just shrugged at his remark and focused on cooking.
Brian was casually drinking a glass of water. But he would glance at the kitchen from time totime.
He didn't know what dishes Rosalynn would make for the couple.
Would they be even more amazing than the spaghetti that he tried before?
"Baxter is such a cunning man. He even invited Leandro's student. I'm afraid we will lose in this around," Eleanor remarked, refilling Brian's glass with water.
Brian pursed his lips and said nothing.
Eleanor observed his expression and decided to reassure him.
