Chapter: 132
“Rosalynn, would you like to ride my horse?" Dayana offered.

Her horse was professionally trained and very docile.

"No, thank you. | can handle it. | appreciate your kindness."

Rosalynn politely declined Dayana's offer with a smile.

“Rosalyn, you're remarkable," Merrick praised.

Rosalynn simply smiled and said nothing, leading the horse out of the stable.

Brian approached her, holding his horse's reins.

"Are you sure you're capable of this? There's no need to pretend to be brave.”

Perhaps it was Rosalynn's lack of interest in him that put him in a sour mood, resulting in his cold tone and darkened expression.

A faint smile graced Rosalynn’s lips.

"Don't worry. I'm not that weak."

She was not Eleanor, and she would not show him vulnerability.

Rosalynn made her way to the racecourse, where she saw Chaz and his wife already mounted on their horses. She stroked the horse's head before attempting to mount it.

Unfortunately, the horse was a little too tall, making it difficult for Rosalynn to step onto the stirrup.

She tried multiple times but to no avail. Her face grew warm with embarrassment.

She could almost imagine the laughter of the other guests, including Brian, at her expense.

Suddenly, she felt warmth on her buttocks, and someone lifted her.

She mounted the horse with their help and turned to say thank you, only to meet Brian's dark gaze.

He was the one who helped her.

Rosalyn felt her face flush, wanting nothing more than to run away.

Brian remained expressionless as he spoke.

"Remember, confidence is crucial when riding a horse. If you're strong, they'll be meek, but if you're weak, they'll disobey you.”
