Chapter: 138
"A lady from your group came over here to feed the horse,’ the trainer answered after giving it some thought.
Rosalynn arched her brow. She then told the trainer about Arya's height and facial traits and asked whether it was her.
The trainer nodded in confirmation.
It turned out to be Arya.
Rosalynn wondered if Arya tried to harm her just because she failed to drive a wedge between her and Eleanor.
Arya was really narrow-minded.
Rosalynn thanked the trainer and exited the racetrack, heading for the pharmacy nearby.
She needed convincing proof that it was Arya who did it.
On the racetrack, Baxter was defeated by Brian.
He dismounted his horse and tossed the reins to the trainer, his frustration palpable.
Arya walked over to him and gave him a bottle of water.
Baxter took a big gulp of water and looked at Arya.
“Did you make Rosalynn’s horse lose control?"
Arya’s response was unapologetic.
"Yes. Rosalynn is not simple. Dayana likes her, so | wanted to teach her a lesson.”
Baxter returned the water to Arya and turned to face Brian, who was still walking the horse with Chaz and Dayana on the racetrack. His eyes glowed with a tinge of malice.
"Since we've started it, let's finish this," he declared.
Arya's eagerness was evident, and she approached him.
"What should we do?”
"Chaz has organized a dinner party tonight..."
As night fell, the mansion was illuminated by vibrant lights.
Tonight, Chaz and his wife would be entertaining guests at the mansion.
