Chapter: 140
She must be a waitress here.
"Yes, it's me, Alice. I'm glad to see you again," Alice said, looking up and down at Rosalynn.
"You are so beautiful. Are you one of Chaz's guests?"
"Yes." Rosalynn smiled.
Alice's small face brightened with a smile. She pulled Rosalynn with her and headed toward her brother.
"Look, this is the lady who saved me yesterday.”
The man was surprised and thanked her.
Rosalyn maintained her smile, showing that it didn't matter much.
However, Alice would always introduce Rosalyn as her savior every time they met someone.
“What are you talking about, Rosalynn?" Dayana approached with a glass of wine and asked, smiling.
"Rosalyn saved me yesterday."
Alice longed for everyone to know of Rosalynn's heroic act and eagerly recounted the incident with vivid detail.
Dayana praised, "Rosalynn, you are very kind and compassionate. I've updated my opinion of you."
"I'm honored," replied Rosalyn, displaying her characteristic modesty.
"Have you learned how to fight?"
"Ive picked up a few self-defense skills.”
"Perhaps you could teach my daughter someday."
"Okay," Rosalynn agreed.
Seeing Rosalynn and Dayana engrossed in conversation, Baxter winked at Arya.
Understanding his intention, Arya promptly made her way toward the kitchen.
Meanwhile, after exchanging pleasantries with various guests, Brian motioned to Eleanor, who had been trailing him incessantly, to leave him alone.
Eleanor nodded and began conversing with a group of ladies.
