Chapter: 167
The four words carried an immense deterrent force, leaving no room for mischief.
Baxter was taken aback by Brian's imposing presence.
Rosalyn cast a glance at Brian and offered a faint smile.
"Did you hear that? Have someone watch them until they've left the manor.”
Chaz issued another command, and the butler and servants escorted the pair to collect their belongings.
“Brian Hughes, this isn't over," Baxter warned, no longer feigning politeness. A vicious glint flashed in his eye.
Brian arched an eyebrow and involuntarily looked at Rosalynn.
He recalled her vow to teach the duo a lesson.
Did it just end like this?
"Chaz, shall we proceed with signing the contract?” Merrick, having recovered from the shock, inquired.
“Let's sign it now," Chaz affirmed.
“Alright.”
Merrick naturally hoped for Brian to secure the contract. He grinned and went to retrieve the document.
Brian smiled, expressing his gratitude to Chaz and his wife.
"Thank you for your trust. | look forward to a fruitful partnership."
Chaz offered a knowing smile as he glanced at Rosalynn.
"You ought to thank Rosalynn for this successful collaboration. Without her, we may have deliberated longer."
“Yes. Although you're a remarkable business prodigy, you're not quite flawless.”
Dayana chimed in, her expression laden with significance.
Brian's eyebrows rose as he grasped their implication.
Were they insinuating his personal life was amess?
He felt absolutely wronged!
