Chapter: 178
"Barlow, have you arrived?”
"I'm already downstairs. I'll be there soon."
"Okay."
When Rosalyn returned home, she sat on the sofa to rest.
The whole trip was tiring.
She was physically and mentally exhausted.
‘She hoped it would never happen again.
Just then, her phone rang.
She saw that it was her grandfather, Calvert, and couldn't help but smile.
“Grandpa!”
Calvert had finally called her.
“Rosalynn, did you call me a few days ago?"
His voice boomed through the phone, sounding old but energetic.
“Yes, Grandpa. Did you go to the mountain to collect herbs again?" Rosalynn asked as she stood up and made her way to the kitchen
"Just mind your own business," Calvert answered.
"Rosalynn, are you home alone again?
What about him? Has he not come back yet?"
Unbeknownst to Calvert, Rosalynn had already divorced Brian. He still thought she was living alone in the same house she had lived in when they were married.
Rosalynn wondered how she should break the news to Calvert.
Calvert fumed.
"Brian is such a bastard. | shouldn't have saved him. Listen to me, Rosalynn.
Divorce that man!"
