Chapter: 1843
Aldrich swiftly took hold of her arm and whisked her into the men's restroom before she had a chance to respond.
Selina's expression shifted, and she asked, “Aldrich, what's on your mind?"
Aldrich remained silent, quickly scanning the restroom to ensure they were alone.
Confirming it was empty, he placed a ‘maintenance’ sign outside, then ushered Selina into a restroom stall and secured the lock.
Selina's expression turned stormy, her eyes narrowing as she demanded, "Aldrich, what do you think you're doing? Let me out!"
Aldrich cornered her against the wall and grabbed her chin.
"Selina, why are you embarrassing yourself here?"
Selina forcefully removed his hand and angrily said, "That's none of your concern."
Aldrich's expression grew gloomier. He seized her wrists, pinning them to the wall.
"Mind how you speak!"
Selina's breath was rapid as she retorted, “What do you expect me to say? You are getting engaged, right? Then what I do has nothing to do with you!"
Aldrich narrowed his eyes.
"You knew about my engagement? So, are you here looking for your new boyfriend?"
Selina scoffed as she said, "Yes, I need to secure a strong supporter, don't I?"
A chill crossed Aldrich's face.
“You are looking for another supporter? Selina, haven't you remembered the leverage I hold over you?"
Upon hearing this, Selina burst into anger and exclaimed, "Aldrich, do you expect me to be your secret lover? Don't go too far!"
Aldrich's sneer deepened.
"Selina, we are not fools. Didn't you promise to assist me in handling Brian and securing power for me?
You planned to stabilize me first and then look for a chance to marry Brian. Isn't that true?"
