Brian and Rosalynn extended their congratulations to Sanford's parents.

After exchanging greetings, Brian casually inquired, "I haven't spotted Sanford. Is he around?"

Britton, Sanford's father, responded, "He's running a bit late but should arrive soon."

Brian glanced at him and noticed that despite Britton wearing a smile, true happiness didn't seem to radiate from him.

Brian refrained from asking further. After some conversation, he took hold of Rosalynn's arm and walked her inside.
