As they were about to leave, Tilda's phone buzzed.

She checked the caller ID, her expression softening. "Hello, Elma."

"Tilda, get to Skrix Hospital quick, Sheldon's gone missing," came a worried voice from a middle-aged woman.

Tilda's expression shifted. "Hospital? What's happening there?"

"The nurse said your mom's finger twitched today. I brought Sheldon to see her, but he vanished while I stepped out to the restroom," the woman explained.
