Taliyah gasped in shock.

“Why did you kick me?"

Trying to rise, Taliyah was shut down. “Stay put!" Rosalynn snapped.

Taliyah froze, feeling small, and glanced at Hutton for help.

“Hutton!"

Rosalynn looked to Hutton. “Are you going to stand up for her?"

Hutton was already angry with Taliyah and quickly denied, "Of course not."

Then he glared at her. “How dare you say those words to my wife? "I was just trying to help you out!"

"I didn't ask for it!"

Hutton sighed. "Taliyah Finch, I've said it before-I see you as a friend and nothing more."

"You're lying! The look in your eyes says different," Taliyah yelled.

"What look in my eyes? A look of disdain? Seriously, Taliyah, lay off the daydreams," Hutton snapped.

“I'm not dreaming! Why did you talk to me so long yesterday if you didn't care?"

Hutton was frustrated. “Sometimes I just talk to my friends when I'm down. By your logic, does that mean I'm in love with them too?"

"You..."

Rosalynn spotted Valeria struggling to rise from bed, so she rushed over to lend a hand.

Hutton clocked it too and tried to help but Valeria brushed him off.

After just having lost her baby, Valeria looked ghostly, her steps labored.

She gripped her belly and inched over to Taliyah, her eyes ablaze.

Taliyah shivered under Valeria's glare. She attempted to stand but Rosalynn nudged her back down.
