Chapter: 276
“Hey, what's wrong with you? How could you pour wine on Sanford? You've gone too far." Millie approached Sanford, admonishing Maggie.
However, a hint of gloating in her eyes betrayed her desire to humiliate Maggie.
Maggie's vision blurred. She tried to steady herself against the table but still wobbled.
She continued to yell, “Bastard! How could you do this to me?"
Sanford wiped the stains off himself and replied innocently, "Maggie, drink all you want, but don't spout nonsense. Have I been with you?"
He hadn't developed amnesia, had he?
Why couldn't he recall dating her?
“You're a bastard! Are you trying to disassociate yourself from me because of her? I'll beat you to death!" Maggie screamed at Sanford, brandishing a glass of wine.
Millie shrieked and hid behind Sanford.
Sanford frowned, preparing to defend himself.
But before Maggie could hurl the glass, Rosalynn dashed over and stopped her just in time.
“I'm sorry. She's drunk and doesn't mean any of this," Rosalynn said, knowing Maggie wasn't good at holding her Liquor.
She hadn't realized that Maggie could become unhinged after drinking too much.
Perhaps it was due to her boyfriend's infidelity.
Rosalynn wrapped her arms around Maggie and said gently, "Maggie, sweetie, let's go home."
Tears streamed down Maggie's face.
"Rosalynn, he's a terrible man. I want to hit him!"
She wasn't referring to Sanford.
Glancing at the disheartened Sanford, Rosalynn offered an apologetic smile and said, “I'll take her back."
Sanford responded, "Can you manage on your own?"
“I can handle it."
Rosalynn walked out, supporting Maggie.
