Chapter: 281
It boasted a prime location and enticing atmosphere, resulting in all of its apartments to be sold out within a short period of time.

Sanford had reserved an apartment for himself and had urged Brian to do the same.

Having already owned numerous properties, Brian had declined at the time.

It was a regrettable decision, indeed.

Brian sipped his wine pensively.

“Could you find out whether the apartment opposite to Rosalynn's is occupied?"

Sanford's smile broadened.

“What do you mean? Are you planning to purchase the apartment?"

“That's right."

“Are you planning to court her?" Sanford prodded playfully.

“And if the owner isn't interested in selling?"

“I'LL up the offer until they relent." Brian stretched out on the sofa, exuding nonchalance.

“Do you mean to tell me you're serious?" asked Sanford.

“When have I ever made a joke?”

Brian remembered that Barlow also lived in the same apartment complex.

Brian desired to be closer to Rosalynn.

The following day, the sun shone through the windows, illuminating the entire apartment.

Rosalynn, with her long hair tied behind her head, was busy cooking in the kitchen.

“Good morning, Rosalynn." Maggie, who was still yawning, walked into the kitchen and greeted Rosalynn

“Oh, you're finally awake, eh? Breakfast will be ready soon."

With a smile, Rosalynn took out the breakfast from the steamer, and the enticing aroma filled the air.

Smelling the delicious food, Maggie remarked, “Rosalynn, I promised I would do the laundry and cook. Why didn't you wake me up?"
