A few seconds later, Maggie's phone rang again.

This time it was Yana.

Maggie looked at the screen and pursed her Lips

Rosalynn patted her hand and said, “She's at fault here. Let's hear what she has to say.”

Maggie nodded, answered the call, and switched it to speakerphone so Rosalynn could hear the conversation.

“Hello?”

“Maggie, did you record a video of me and Lloyd? Delete it immediately, or you'll regret it!"

Yana's high-pitched voice screeched through the phone.

She remained as arrogant as ever.

Maggie gripped her phone, seething with anger at the thought of the mistreatment she'd endured since childhood.

"Yana, be respectful when you speak to me. You're the one in the wrong.

If you want me to delete the video, you should apologize and ask me nicely."

Yana's voice grew louder upon hearing Maggie's response.

“What did you just say? You want me to apologize and ask you nicely? Maggie, who do you think you are? You're nothing but a country girl. Your place is to serve me!"

"Yana, last I checked, we're from the same place. If I'm a country girl, what does that make you?" Maggie asked.

“How dare you!" Yana was infuriated.

“Maggie, it seems while I wasn't around, you've become quite eloquent. Now, tell me, what do I need to do for you to delete that video?"

Maggie wasn’t a pushover. She just didn't want to engage in arguments before.

She replied, "I won't delete it until Lloyd pays me back."

Yana went silent, then her tone softened.

“Maggie, we're cousins, so what's the big deal about me having some fun with your boyfriend? Besides, it wasn't that serious. If it bothers you, I can give him back.”
