Chapter: 306
Mary didn't leave yet. Once she saw Rosalynn exit the studio, she messaged Eleanor.
“Rosalynn just Left.”
At that moment, Eleanor was resting in the Lounge.
She scoffed, replying, “Okay.”
In her eyes, Rosalynn was truly capable and bothersome.
On the other hand, Rosalynn drove home.
Maggie was busy in the kitchen. Upon seeing Rosalynn return, she was surprised.
“What did Mr. Hughes say to you? Why didn’t you join him for dinner?”
Rosalynn tried to calm down and rolled her eyes.
“Maggie, let me clarify once more. He's merely my boss, alright?"
"Oh, I understand."
Maggie wasn't convinced but kept her doubts to herself.
Just then, her phone on the glass table rang.
“Rosalynn, can you help me check who is calling?"
Rosalynn nodded and went to check it out.
“It's your mother, Maggie."
Maggie dried her hands and took the phone.
“Hi, Mom."
"Maggie, come home this weekend."
She wanted her to return?
Maggie sensed something was amiss.
“What’s going on?”
