Chapter: 314
Rosalynn was stunned. She cursed, "What's gotten into you, Barlow?"
"Just sharing the pain with you!"
"Please Leave my house as soon as possible.”
“Your grandpa hasn't said that."
“This is my home. I can decide."
“Rosalynn, how can you turn a guest away?"
Rosalynn felt defeated.
Seeing the two arguing with each other, Calvert sat in the yard, narrowing his eyes and stroking his mustache.
His granddaughter was adored by everyone. Only Brian was foolish enough to not see that.
In another building, Brylee wore a long dress. Looking at this simple place, she felt disgusted.
“Harlan, are we seriously inviting these people to our wedding?"
“Yes, it's a tradition," Harlan responded as he grabbed an invitation for Mamie.
It was customary; no matter who was getting married, rich or poor, all villagers would be invited to the wedding.
“Harlan, I just saw Rosalynn return to visit her grandpa. I'll give them the invitation," Mamie mentioned, holding the invitation.
Had Rosalynn returned?
Harlan's eyes sparkled as he quickly said, “Mom, Let me go instead. You can send invitations to other people.”
“Alright," Mamie replied.
When Harlan heard that Rosalynn was home, his spirits lifted.
Brylee was jealous.
"Harlan, let me go with you."
“No, you can join my mom in visiting the villagers."
Harlan grabbed the invitation and headed out.
