Chapter: 318
Upon hearing this, Barlow glanced at Rosalynn, and his heart raced.
Had she divorced Brian?
After sipping some soup, Calvert asked, “Barlow, do you have feelings for Rosalynn?"”
Following a brief pause, Barlow smiled and remarked, “Rosalynn is a wonderful person. I believe any man who has met her would be drawn to her."
As Calvert sipped his soup, he was about to inquire about Barlow's family background.
“Other than your aunt—"
“Grandpa, just enjoy your soup!" Rosalynn interrupted him, shooting him a stern look.
Calvert retorted, "Are you giving me that Look? I'm only concerned about your future.”
“Alright, thank you. But you're not supposed to talk while eating. Just eat!" Rosalynn gently chided as she served Calvert some food.
Calvert rolled his eyes at her and fell silent.
Rosalynn took a deep breath and shot Barlow a glare as she caught him smiling at her.
If she had known he would be such a handful, she might not have saved him.
Once dinner was over, Rosalynn cleared the table.
Seeing that Barlow was still there, she was speechless.
"You've finished your meal. Can you leave now?"
“Don't be in such a hurry. I don't come here often. I'll help your grandfather with his herbs," Barlow replied with a smile.
“You are so idle!" Rosalynn responded coldly.
“I just don't want you to be bored here by yourself. No need to thank me.
Rosalynn glanced at him and decided to ignore his remark
With a smile, Barlow turned around and left the kitchen to assist Calvert in organizing the herbs.
After tidying up the kitchen, Rosalynn started making dumplings for Calvert.
While she was not at home, Calvert could eat the dumplings she made.
