Chapter: 77
Aside from being an excellent designer, she was good at fighting, translating, and even cooking. Brian was confident that her skills were more than enough.
When Eleanor was about to knock on the door of the office, she heard the conversation between Brian and Edwin.
Rosalynn again? And this time, Brian was going on a business trip to Neham alone with her.
Why would Brian only take Rosalynn with him in this important business trip?
How much did he value her to give her such an opportunity?
Did he just think that she was very capable? Or did he actually like her?
Eleanor's face darkened. She had to do something about this.
Just recently, because she was afraid that Brian had already learned that the woman he had sex with that night was Rosalynn and not her, she deliberately quarreled with John Cohen, the director, to test Brian.
To Eleanor's delight, Brian didn't hesitate to kick John out for another director when she asked.
It meant that Brian was still in the dark regarding the truth.
But what baffled her the most was the fact that Rosalynn was keeping the truth from Brian.
She was just an orphan with no strong family background. Was she just really stupid, or was she playing hard to get?
But no matter what her deal was, Eleanor already viewed Rosalynn as an enemy that she should be wary of.
Before Rosalynn could make a move, she needed to find a way to please Brian and make him fall in love with her.
This way, she assumed that even if Brian knew that she lied to him, he would still forgive her.
With these thoughts in her head, Eleanor knocked on the door and pushed it in.
“Mr. Hughes."
Seeing her come in, Brian frowned imperceptibly.
Edwin nodded to Eleanor and went out with the signed documents.
"What is it?"
“Well, nothing serious. | just came to thank you. | heard that John has been replaced with another director."
Eleanor smiled coquettishly, pouring her admiration for Brian through her eyes.
However, Brian didn't even look at her and just looked down at some documents. "I did say that | would make you popular.”
Eleanor nodded repeatedly, already contented by this answer. Seeing that he worked so seriously, she felt that it added more to his charm.
After a brief pause, she finally asked, "Are you going to Neham on a business trip tomorrow?"
