"| just got my car. I'm about to go home and pack up for a business trip tomorrow."

Distracted by Karina, Rosalyn didn't think too much about Maggie's boyfriend anymore.

She just stepped on the gas pedal and drove out of there.

"You're going to a business trip? Why? Where? You're going alone?”

Karina quickly asked a series of questions, confused at the news Rosalynn just broke.

“No, I'm not. Brian asked me to go with him."

Rosalynn didn't tell much details about the business trip, but she said that Brian would be with her.

Karina's eyebrows raised and she said in a joking tone, "A business trip with him, huh? Why do | feel that it's just an excuse to be with you? You know what? Go to the shopping mall right now! I'll meet you there. I'll pick some sexy clothes for you. That way, he will be heads over heels for you!"

Rosalynn was rendered speechless.

She couldn't help but wonder why her friend's imagination was so hyperactive.

Nonetheless, Rosalynn still met with Karina.

In Friendship Mall

"Rosalynn, you always wear plain clothes. You should wear something fancy during this business trip!" Karina took Rosalynn to the women's clothing section and whispered in her ear, “Don't forget the most important thing. Buy some sexy underwear. | promise that your Brian won't be able to take his eyes off you!”

Rosalynn’s mouth was left hanging open.

What on earth was this woman talking about?

“Stop your weird fantasies. I'm going on a business trip with my superior. That's it. Nothing else is going to happen."

"Oh, really? There are several translators in your company, but he specifically asked you to go with him. | don't believe that he has no other motives for picking you."

Karina giggled, smiling meaningfully.

With a little reluctance, Rosalynn nodded and said, "Well yeah, he does have other motives.”

Karina smiled knowingly. “I told you so."

Rosalynn laughed and gently patted Karina's head.

“| hate to disappoint you, but it's not what you're thinking. He just thinks that | have the necessary talents, so he's making the best out of it. After all, he’s a businessman. Stop daydreaming, okay?"

Karina pushed her hand away and teased her, "Yeah, he thinks you're talented...even in bed!"

Rosalynn could just roll her eyes.

She didn't have the endurance to argue with Karina all day.
