Sanford raised his eyebrows in slight confusion. He turned to Millie and asked her to wait for him in their private room with the rest of their party. Then he followed after Rosalynn.

“Rosalynn, are you here by yourself, or is Brian with you? If Brian came with you, maybe we can have dinner together."

Rosalynn was in the middle of choosing some shellfish. When she heard his voice coming from beside her, her face instantly darkened.
