ALL eyes turned to Valeria.

She blinked innocently at them.

"What? I just think that since they live across from each other, Rosalynn could take care of Mr. Hughes.”

Her words carried a lot of implication.

Luckily, everyone was clever enough to glean Valeria‘s meaning, as well as the fact that she had said that on purpose.

She was indirectly letting them know that Brian had a close relationship with Rosalynn.

The guests smiled knowingly and said nothing.

Valeria continued, “Fortunately, Mr. Hughes was smart enough to invite me over. I can take care of Mrs. Truman, so don't pressure yourself, Rosalynn. Mrs. Truman, you won't get annoyed with me, will you?"

Dayana smiled.

“Of course not. You and Rosalynn have similar personalities. I shall never get tired of your company.”

It was clear that Valeria and Rosalynn got along really well.

Valeria held up her wine glass to Dayana and took a sip.

Eleanor was fuming by this point.

The men proceeded to talk about business, but Brian remained attentive to Rosalynn, picking up food and putting it in her bowl from time to time.
