Chapter: 948
He was on the brink of returning to his regular life.

Eleanor's gaze Locked onto Brian's chiseled yet frosty features, her eyes brimming with frustration and stubborn refusal.

Why didn't he find her appealing?

She was just as desirable as Rosalynn.

Having dropped Hutton and Valeria off at Hutton's place, Rosalynn returned to her apartment.

Maggie was nodding off on the Living room couch.

Stirring at the sound of Rosalynn‘s return, she rubbed her sleepy eyes and got up.

“Rosalynn, you're back."

Trading her shoes for slippers, Rosalynn greeted her with a smile.

"Why are you still up, Maggie?"

“I was a bit worried about Valeria and couldn't catch any sleep. How is she doing?" queried Maggie, concern etching her voice.

Feeling a little parched, Rosalynn headed over to pour herself a glass of water.

“She was released on bail and is currently staying at Hutton’s place.”

Rosalynn relayed the day's events to Maggie.

Listening attentively, Maggie asked, “So Eleanor lost her baby?"

“That's right." With that, Rosalynn decided to freshen up.

Watching Rosalynn's retreating figure, Maggie voiced her thoughts.

“Even though it was an innocent life, it shouldn't have come into this world. In some way, this outcome could be seen as a blessing."

Rosalynn hesitated before disappearing into the bedroom to fetch her clothes.

Was everyone relieved about the baby's absence?

Because it potentially cleared the way for her reconciliation with Brian?

In that case, should she consider getting back together with Brian?
