Chapter: 86
Was she immune to his charms?
Sanford didn't buy it. A mischievous smile curled on his lips. "It's rare to see Brian step in and protect a woman like this. Isn't this a golden opportunity for you? You could take advantage of his interest and make your life so much easier."
Rosalynn still couldn't understand Brian's intentions, but Sanford's words didn't sit right with her. "| have my own ambitions. | don't need anyone's help to fulfill them."
Sanford's eyes widened at her answer.
This woman was something else.
He didn't know where she was getting her confidence from, but he had never met anyone whose spunk matched Brian's.
Rosalynn didn't linger for another moment. Karina took her to another boutique, and the two bought several dresses as well as lingerie.
"Rosalynn, Brian got mad for your sake just now. He's definitely interested in you!" Karina teased.
Rosalynn didn't know what to say to that. "I don't care."
She couldn't understand why Brian would go as far as helping her.
Perhaps it was true that he liked her.
But no matter what the case was, Rosalynn didn't really care.
She didn't want to be involved with someone who changed his woman as often as he changed clothes.
The following day, Rosalynn brought her suitcase to the airport.
She waited for about ten minutes in the hall, and Brian finally appeared.
He was wearing the usual white shirt and black pants with a matching blazer hanging on his arm.
Gazes of passersby followed him even as he just stood still.
Rosalynn regarded him warily. This man was trouble.
She walked to him, pulling her suitcase behind her.
“Mr. Hughes."
Brian glanced at her, then took his own suitcase from the driver.
He pushed his luggage toward her and said, "Take it."
For a moment, Rosalynn was dumbstruck.
Was he seriously telling her to carry his suitcase?
What kind of man made a woman carry his things?
