Chapter: 93
Meanwhile, in the hotel room, Brian answered a call from Edwin. Glancing at the time, he realized it was almost time for dinner.
Considering Rosalynn, he drummed his slender fingers on the table and dialed her number.
The phone was finally connected after a long time. co)
Hearing the noise on the other end of the phone, Brian frowned slightly.
“Where are you?"
“I'm shopping.”
"Give me the location."
Rosalynn found a quieter spot, set her belongings down, and looked at the red marks on her fingers left by the shopping bags.
"Are you coming to shop as well?" she asked.
"Can't I?"
"Of course, you're welcome.”
"Send me your location.”
Brian ended the call.
"Such an arrogant man!" Rosalynn murmured and texted him the location.
When she prepared to find a place to relax with her purchases, she noticed a rough man dragging a girl into a dark alley, covering her mouth and nose.
Rosalynn's face changed. She quickly dropped her things and ran after them.
In the dark depths of the alley, a girl was pinned under a large man. Her screams rang out in the narrow space, broken only by the sharp ripping sound of her clothes.
Rosalynn rushed over, only to stop dead in her tracks as she took in the scene before her.
Her fists trembled at her sides. She looked around and found a wooden pole. Without a second thought, she grabbed it and gave the man a sound whack in the back of his head.
The man roared and crumpled to the side, his hands cradling his head.
Rosalynn’s expression turned even fiercer. She tightened her grip on the pole and proceeded to wave it back and forth at the man.
He let out a string of expletives as he dodged her attacks, but to no avail. Rosalynn drove him to a dead end and relentlessly beat him with her makeshift weapon.
The man spat out a mouthful of blood and heaved. He held up his hands in surrender.
“Stop it! He's going to die if you keep this up!"
The girl quickly pulled Rosalynn away, panic written all over her face.
