Chapter: 57
Actually, Matteo was still confused. He didn't understand why Michel suddenly called and asked him to report a failed project.

The truth was, he came unprepared.

But what could he do? It was Mitchel's order, and he couldn't possibly refuse. He had no choice but to pretend to report.

As a result, Matteo said a lot of specious things. However, Mitchel didn't seem to realize it. He only listened carefully without saying a word.

Matteo felt strange. This was not the Mitchel he knew.

Finally, the tormenting report came to an end. Matteo reached out and wiped the layers of sweat on his forehead. Then he bowed to Mitchel, turned around, and strode out of the office.

Mitchel threw the report on the table. He frowned, looked up, and asked coldly, "What's the matter?"

Raegan looked at the time on the wall clock stealthily. She thought it was not too late yet.

She asked respectfully, "Mr. Dixon, are you done with your work? Do you have time to go to the court now?"

Mitchel's frown deepened even more. He thought he should just Leave her alone and not let her speak.

"I've just come back from a business trip, so I'm busy."

After saying this, he stood up, picked up his coat, and prepared to leave.

When Mitchel passed by Raegan, he suddenly bent over. His cold and handsome face was so close to her that she felt a sense of oppression.

He looked straight into her eyes and asked in a chilly voice, “Are you really that eager to divorce me?"

Raegan was stunned.

Her eyebrows crinkled in confusion. Why was Mitchel mad? Wasn't he the one who asked her to sign the divorce agreement?

Before she could voice out her confusion, Mitchel stood up and said in a cold voice, “Don't forget the dinner at the family house tonight."

When she saw him step outside the office, Raegan shouted toward his back, "Mr. Dixon!"

Mitchel halted in his tracks. He frowned deeply. When he looked over his shoulder, Raegan uttered, "How about next Monday?"

Hearing that, his eyelids twitched again.
