Chapter: 1452
Sabrina glanced at the bowl in front of her but made no move.
“Don't waste your time. If you have something to say, say it. If not, I'l leave now."
With that, Sabrina stood up and was about to Leave.
"Wait." Rita stopped Sabrina at once and sighed.
"Fine, have it your way, Sabrina. I'll get straight to the point. I was hoping you and your friend could write a letter of understanding for Brady."
Of course, it was exactly as Sabrina guessed. Rita didn't come here for so-called wishes to reunite with her. Rita was here in need of a letter of understanding from her. The letter was crucial to get Brady out of jail.
After a few moments of thinking, Sabrina figured out why Rita wanted her to draft a letter of understanding.
The Garrett family must have urged the Fowler family to hand Sierra over to the police to save Brady. If the Fowler family wanted to protect Sierra, they had to find another way to get Brady out.
So Rita traveled here and pestered her, wanting her to draft a letter of understanding for Brady.
It had been over 20 years since Rita abandoned Sabrina without looking back. Not once did Rita seek Sabrina out or support Sabrina even though she knew where Sabrina was. Yet, ironically, for Sierra's sake, Rita approached Sabrina. What a loving aunt Rita was!
When Rita saw the scowl on Sabrina's face, Rita served some food for Sabrina and said calmly, "Sabrina, I know you are resistant to the idea of forgiving Brady, but I am doing this for your own good.
Think about it. You and your friend didn't get hurt. Brady is an outgoing and kind young man. He has no malicious intentions. Wouldn't it be a pity to put him in jail?
But if you agree to forgive him, the Garrett family and the Fowler family will be grateful to you. They can be of tremendous help to your life and career. Why are you so stubborn and let such a golden opportunity slide?
What's more, you know that this matter involves Sierra. You probably don't know Sierra's parents passed away not long after they arrived in Violeholt, leaving Sierra behind. You and Sierra are cousins. Do you really have the heart to watch Sierra fall into the hands of the Garrett family and go to jail in Brady's stead?"
Sabrina sneered at Rita.
“Are you done? I'll take my leave. But let me make this clear. I won't forgive Brady."
Then, Sabrina stood up and left.
Sabrina had just gotten to the door when Rita suddenly shouted, “Sabrina, don't you want to know who you really are?"
Sabrina froze, and her heart skipped a beat. She suddenly had a sinking feeling.
Who she really was? She was Rita's and Connor's daughter, wasn't she?
