Tyrone tapped the table lightly with his index finger.

"One of the affected, Sabrina, is the adopted daughter of the Blakely family. She happens to be my ex-wife."

Horace was stunned. No wonder he felt a spark of recognition when Fulton mentioned Sabrina's name.

While Horace had always kept tabs on Tyrone, he was still busy with his work and wasn't always aware of every aspect of Tyrone's life, so there were a few things he didn't know.

Horace was aware that last year, Tyrone's private affairs were on the entertainment headlines a lot. He watched a video of an interview Tyrone granted and learned that Tyrone had married the Blakely family's adopted daughter and then later divorced her. However, Horace couldn't recall what her name was.

As it turned out, the adopted daughter in question was Sabrina.

Tyrone stared directly into Horace's eyes and added, “Before my grandpa passed away, he asked me to take care of Sabrina, and I do my best to fulfill his last wish even though we are divorced. Two days ago, the Garrett family went to her house and threatened her as well as her friends. I stopped them but a few days later, your wife, Miss Rivera, went to threaten her as well."

No wonder the Garrett family came back from Mathias reluctantly and then shifted their focus to Sierra. It was Tyrone who had intervened and foiled their plans.

"Oh, I see." Horace smiled.

"That's easy to fix. I'll ask my wife to stop troubling Miss Chavez and return home immediately."

"I'm afraid it's not that simple."

"What?" Horace asked, looking puzzled.

“Please forgive my presumption, but I have to ask you something. Do you know that your wife was married and had a daughter in her hometown of Mathias before she married you?"

"I know."

But Horace didn't know the identity of Rita's ex-husband or that of her daughter.

But now that Tyrone was asking him about it, Horace could hazard a guess as to who the daughter was. He could hardly believe that his assumption was right, though.

He knew that the father of the adopted daughter of the Blakely family was a highly praised reporter.

But when Horace met Rita, she told him that her ex-husband had abused her and still harassed her after the divorce, so she had no choice but to leave her hometown and come to Violetholt.

Horace found it hard to believe the highly praised reporter and the man who resorted to violence according to Rita, were the same person.

“Sabrina is the daughter your wife had with her ex-husband," Tyrone said, confirming Horace's guess.
